Our New Look!
You may recall the exciting news that our organization’s evolution to Tompkins, a more efficient community bank made possible by the consolidation of our affiliate banks across New York State and Pennsylvania, is well underway. Together as one, Tompkins remains well positioned to serve our customers and communities long into the future.
Looking back, we’ve served our communities since 1836, and we’ve evolved over time to better serve those who need us most. Our longevity gives us our strength, but adapting to the everchanging landscape allows us to continue to innovate and grow for the betterment of our customers, our company, and our community. When four community banks across New York State and Pennsylvania came together to form the Tompkins family of banks, we realized we were on to something special. For many years, Tompkins Trust Company, Tompkins Bank of Castile, Tompkins Mahopac Bank, and Tompkins VIST Bank operated independently as separately chartered financial institutions, while benefitting from the strength of a shared vision and mission. Now, we’ve come together as one, and we have our customers and communities to thank for helping us reach this next step in our journey.
While not much is changing, including local decision-making and our dedication to supporting our neighbors, we do have a new look that we are excited to share!
While you may recognize our iconic acorn and oak leaf, which symbolizes our strength and stability, the new look moves our brand forward while maintaining the integrity and familiarity that the Tompkins brand has always embodied. It’s modern, yet most importantly, true to our roots. We’ve always been proud to offer a holistic suite of services, which are now highlighted just below the Tompkins name. In the next few weeks, you’ll begin to see the new look and logo in more places, whether that be out and about on a billboard or while attending a community event we sponsored. In May, it will be widely used in our branch signage, on our website, and beyond.
