Tompkins Trust Company is bringing back its second annual United Way Carnival for a Cause on the Ithaca Commons!
Tompkins employees will engage the community with a variety of activities and games including bubble blowing, hip hop squares, water balloon toss, coloring & crafts, face painting, henna tattoos, photo booths, bounce house, a dunk tank that will feature a variety of local celebrities taking the big splash, and much more. Families and friends who visit the carnival will also have the opportunity to enjoy cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones, Meg-a-Moo ice cream and delicious hotdogs from local favorite, Lou of Lou’s Hotdog Stand. A DJ and live music will underscore the event, while a bird demonstration from the Cornell Raptor program also takes place. Children will also have the opportunity to have fun with Crossroads the Clown, tour fire trucks and win prizes.
Activities and games are free and open to the public, with suggested donations for the cause. Food from vendors will be available with a portion of the proceeds going to support the United Way.
The carnival will take place on Saturday, September 14th, from 1 - 4PM on the Ithaca Commons.
